Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer responsible for the full life cycle of design and development of solutions and products that enable change, growth, and flexibility. The engineer will act as a trusted technical leader within the team and cross-functional groups, thriving in a scaled agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Full stack development using JavaScript, Java, NodeJS, Python, and Postgres

• Develop and support complex Servlets as plugins and browser single-page applications using modern frameworks such as Angular

• Build applications with Maven and Webpack

• Manage and query both RDB and NoSQL databases

• Develop and support complex Jira/Confluence/Crowd plugins

• Expert in modern APIs, especially REST APIs

• Implement Web accessibility knowledge (WCAG 2.0/Section 508)

• Design and implement Cloud-based resources in AWS and Azure

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and ARM

• Use Git for source code management

• Use Jira and Confluence for project status and collaboration

• Maintain as-built documentation of system design and functionality

• Contribute to vision and roadmap for portfolio applications

• Collaborate daily with team members and leadership virtually

• Solve complex problems, analyze data, and work independently or collaboratively

• Work at a high technical level in all phases of application development, systems analysis, and data manipulation

• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and manage multiple priorities

• Follow SCRUM/Agile development methodology

Skills & Knowledge:

• knowledge in design, implementation, and delivery of applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python with SQL/NoSQL persistence layers

• knowledge with Cloud-enabled application technologies including:

  • Containerized or virtual servers (Tomcat, NodeJS, Django)

  • Hosted database services (RDS, Dynamo, Azure SQL)

  • Serverless technologies (Lambda, application functions)

  • Middleware cloud technologies (S3, BLOB storage, Route 53, WAF, gateways)

  • Linux, Spring Boot, Maven, IntelliJ, Eclipse

• knowledge with automated testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Protractor, Jasmine)

• years of knowledge with client-side frameworks (React, React Native, Angular, Vue.js)

• Basic Bash and SSH knowledge on RHEL

• Knowledge in planning, leading, and executing software and IT projects of varying size and complexity
