Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various financial activities within the organization. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliation - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. Identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable and Receivables Management
- Insurance Payments - Ensure timely payment of insurance premiums for the group of companies.Maintain accurate records of insurance policies and coverage.
- Mortgage Payments - Coordinate with financial institutions to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.Monitor mortgage terms, interest rates, and repayment schedules.
- Maintain Proper Records - Establish and maintain organized and well-documented financial records.
- Tax Filing and Payments - Prepare and file tax returns for the group of companies in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Management Account Preparation - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
