The Chapter Lead will not directly manage products but will lead through influence, coaching, and strategic oversight. They will be responsible for the overall product management function, resource allocation, and the professional development of their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of 12+ product managers and business owners, with potential for future growth. Foster a high-performance, agile team culture with clear career progression and development plans.
- Enterprise Product Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive enterprise product strategy, including product structure, engagement models, and success metrics.
- Transformation & Change Management: Lead the transition from a project-based funding and delivery model to a product-centric approach across technology and the broader enterprise.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including customers, vendors, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Financial & Resource Management: Ensure appropriate product team resourcing, manage product budgets, and oversee financial performance, including P&L responsibilities as required.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Support the Application Development Chapter Lead in fostering an engineering culture and work closely with the Portfolio Senior Director to implement an adaptive, human-centric system of work.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years managing a complex portfolio, program, or product.
- 15+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, scrum, or product management.
- 5+ years of direct people leadership experience.
- Extensive experience in agile delivery methodologies.
- Proven track record leading large-scale product transformations.
- Experience managing ERPs or enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
- Background in airline or logistics industries is a plus but not required.
