Responsibilities for Cashier:

• Collect cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
• Make change accurately and efficiently
• Issue receipts to customers
• Deal with returns and refunds as necessary
• Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct
• Answer customer questions as they arise
• Calculate customer bills through cash register ringing
• Help with other tasks as needed including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean

Qualifications for Cashier:

• 3-6 months of experience handling money and working with a cashier
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide easily and quickly
• Experience operating a cash register
• Proficient cashier and clerical skills
• Comfortable with cash handling
• Strong customer service skills

Looking for a dynamic, responsible, and reliable individual to fill the role of a Cashier at our Jyoti Grocery Store located in Duluth, GA. This position is part-time, temporary, and available for weekend shifts. Applicants must be US Citizens, Green Card holders, or possess a Valid Work Visa. Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage cash transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments and provide accurate change
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform basic bookkeeping and keep a general ledger

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position entails a W2-Permanent or W2-Contract agreement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Experience in financial services or accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office
• EAD / TN or Trade - Retail / Wholesale background preferred
