Senior Accountant Jobs in CytoSorbents Princeton Junction, NJ

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a key role supporting critical financial operations such as international consolidations, payroll, equity accounting, and SEC reporting. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of US GAAP, experience in a public company environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Lead international consolidations across multiple entities in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Process and oversee payroll transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, P&L, and cash flow).
• Support SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) in coordination with auditors and the financial reporting team.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Deliver monthly performance analysis, strategic updates, and KPI reports to management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Operations.
• Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and internal controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a publicly traded company.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and consolidation practices.
• Proficient in ERP systems (Great Plains preferred) and advanced Excel.
• Experience in payroll processing is a plus.
