Senior Accountant Job Description

A rapidly growing fintech startup is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) in Austin involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic insights.

Key Duties:

Oversee accounting processes and reporting
Ensure regulatory compliance (ASC)
Collaborate with external partners - Big plus
Support strategic financial planning
Experience working with subsidiaries/sister companies

Qualifications:

Relevant degree in accounting/finance or related field; CPA or CPA candidate Preferred
Significant experience in Accounting with 5+ years of solid experience
Familiarity with industry-standard accounting software (Sage Intact a plus)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
