As the Talent Acquisition Manager - Field Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the talent acquisition strategy for our field operations in the US and Canada. You will oversee all aspects of recruiting for field roles, including Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, Warehouse / Stockers, CDL Drivers, and other field-based positions. This role requires the ability to drive recruitment initiatives to support business growth and talent development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and initiatives to attract, hire, and retain top talent for field operations roles across the US and Canada.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand business objectives and workforce needs, aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
- Identify areas for improvement and innovation in talent acquisition processes, tools, and technologies to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead a team of Recruiters / Talent Acquisition Specialists to execute recruitment activities and meet hiring targets for field operations roles.
- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the team, monitoring progress and providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Oversee candidate sourcing strategies and channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, universities, and industry associations, to expand the talent pool and pipeline.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance, and beyond.
- Develop and execute employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives to promote Foundation Building Materials as an employer of choice for field operations roles.
- Partner with Marketing and other departments / sources to create compelling content and messaging for recruitment campaigns and materials.
- Utilize data analytics and recruitment metrics to track and evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into recruitment performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on field operations or construction industry roles.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, processes, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software; Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to support recruitment efforts across the US and Canada.
