Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. You will be part of our IT Software team and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. If you are passionate about technology, eager to learn, and have experience in automation testing, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time position, open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, H4, L2, STEM, and OPT visa holders.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is open for W2-Permanent and W2-Contract arrangements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the IT Software industry.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Skills

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like QTP and Selenium.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
