This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about dental care and providing support to ensure our patients receive the highest quality treatment

Responsibilities:

• As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and dental hygienists, assisting in a variety of dental procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative care instructions
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) under the direction of the dentist
• Manage patient records, including updating health histories and treatment information
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide direct patient care, including applying sealants and fluoride, as permitted by law and training
• Perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing supplies
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Certification or registration as a Dental Assistant as required by the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in dental office software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work closely with dentists during procedures
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
