Human Resources Generalist Jobs in Classic Industries Huntington Beach, CA

Classic Industries, located in Huntington Bleach, the industry leader in restoration parts and accessories for classic cars and trucks, has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities working closely with all departments taking on a broad range of HR-related responsibilities. This position reports directly to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and strategies
• Administer compensation and benefits plans
• Support the recruitment and staffing process
• Employee training and development
• New hire orientation / onboarding
• Maintain organizational charts and job descriptions
• Perform annual salary and benefits competitive review
• Handle employee grievances, investigations, and discipline
• Annual employee evaluations and performance reviews
• Employee engagement and retention
• Develop HR reports for review with management
• Employee morale and teambuilding
• Maintain employee files and records / process terminations
• Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and California employment laws
• Be up-to-date on all current California state employment laws
• Update employee handbook as required ensuring compliance with California laws
• Prior experience working with attorneys on employment related issues

Qualifications:

• At least 2 - 3 years of relevant human resources related experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven success working in an HR department
• Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of various HR software and Microsoft Office programs

Pay: $55,000 - $68,000 annually
