Experienced Senior Accountant Jobs in Invesco Dallas, TX

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the accounting and reporting functions for assigned real estate portfolios and/or fund products. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial deliverables, coordinating with global teams, and serving as a key liaison for third-party service providers. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller to deliver high-quality financial reporting and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of financial statements, investor reporting packages, NAV statements, capital call and distribution notices, and other monthly or quarterly financial reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for third-party property management accounting teams and/or fund administrators.
• Manage general accounting activities, ensuring accurate maintenance of ledger accounts and timely delivery of property-level financial statements.
• Prepare or review accounting entries related to acquisitions and dispositions, and coordinate payment processing.
• Draft audit reports, gather and coordinate audit documentation, respond to auditor inquiries, and incorporate feedback into final deliverables in collaboration with the Assistant Controller and Controller.
• Review tax returns prepared by external tax advisors and collaborate with the internal tax team on compliance and planning.
• Oversee the setup and closure of client bank accounts, monitor cash positions, and manage banking compliance.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including portfolio and asset managers, product management, and compliance teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with real estate or fund accounting exposure.
• Prior experience in public accounting is highly valued.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi and/or Investran is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—capable of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
