Link Crude Resources and its affiliated companies (Link) are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our brokerage group. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with other financial tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Link Crude Resources and all related companies
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including entering invoices and bills if need be, in order to ensure prompt invoicing to customers and proper payment to vendors.
- Process all Vendor and Customer Payments
- Process and record Link’s sales transactions including all commission tracking statements accounts payable, accounts receivable and costs for Link’s brokers.
- Reconcile bank statements daily and commission statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Monitor and track payments from customers including communicating with customers to address any past due invoices on their account.
- Distribute and track broker commission receivables and ensure reconciliation of same.
- Manage payroll processing , ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments to employees.
- Ensure accurate accrual and timely deposits to Link’s benefit programs.
- Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for Link monthly and otherwise upon request.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns, audits and other regulatory filings.
- Maintain an organized paper and electronic filing system for financial documents and records.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Ensure accounting code synchronization across all Link recordkeeping and documentation as needed.
- Review expense reports
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
