Java Backend Developer Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend frameworks, databases, and cloud technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Write efficient, scalable, and secure server-side logic.
Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other teams to deliver complete solutions.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Required Skills:
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
Experience with Spring Boot, Express.js, Django, or other backend frameworks.
Proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
