Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic J2EE Developer to join our IT Software team in New York, NY. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, integrating, and managing Java applications in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the J2EE framework, including working knowledge of Java, Javascript, HTML/CSS, JavaServer Pages (JSP), and Java Web Services.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using the best software development practices.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $99,000 to $119,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have anywhere from 0 to 8 years of experience in IT Software. Prospective applicants must hold a valid work visa, be a US citizen, or hold a green card.

Skills

• Proficient in Java and JavaScript, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
• Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Play and Spark
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
