.NET Developer Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
Build and consume RESTful APIs / Web Services.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver features.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
Work with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases).
Implement secure coding practices and ensure applications meet security standards.
Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React is a plus).
Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries/stored procedures.
Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
