Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience with big data tools, cloud platforms, and strong programming skills to ensure reliable data flow for analytics and business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

• Work with large-scale data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming systems.

• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.

• Deploy and monitor data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Document processes and maintain data infrastructure best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Knowledge of big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Airflow, DBT, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).

• Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and schema design.

• Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to machine learning pipelines and MLOps.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
