Salesforce Developer Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, customize, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Salesforce development, integrations, and best practices to support business needs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automations.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, admins, and other developers to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
Stay up to date with new Salesforce releases and features.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Components.
Knowledge of Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, reports, dashboards).
Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification.
Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for UI customization.
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
