UI Developer Job Description

Role: UI Developer
Experience required: 3 to 5+ years.
Job type: FTE
Location: Remote
Role Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Owners, UX team, technical leads & internal team to produce software design and frontend development.
- Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements and story estimation.
- Implement design into building HTML pages for handoff to backend development.
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
- Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
- Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
- Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
- Participate, contribute, and coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience developing frontend applications utilizing CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, JSON, and HTML5.
- Graphical Design experience of wireframes/mockups using Dreamweaver and Invision.
- Basic Visual Studio knowledge.
- Must be able to work in an agile environment using Jira to manage work.
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket source control.
- Must be able to work within Bank of America branding guidelines and understand AA and AAA standards for ADA/accessibility
- Comfortable working independently on the frontend.
- Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
