.NET Developer Job Description

About The Role:
The Junior .NET Developer will be backend focused and responsible for engineering data-oriented features and processes to serve our applications.
This position is 100% Remote.
Job type: FTE
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and release features for server-side applications using C and .NET frameworks and technologies
- Engineer efficient querying strategies and investigate questions around application performance and behavior by querying data.
- Utilize source control in a collaborative environment to contribute code and to participate in reviewing the code of peers.
- Communicate effectively and often as barriers arise and as ideas surface.
- Learn and apply new technologies and techniques via online training and peer collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in CS or related field, or similar, relevant technical experience.
- Object-oriented programming experience, preferably .NET (C).
- Ability to complete and discuss a backend code challenge.
- Experience in SQL and normalized database design.
- Familiarity with Git and merge/conflict resolution concepts.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability and willingness to seek out information and answers to move past barriers.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
