Job Overview

Tekarch Technology is currently seeking a dedicated Software Tester in New York, NY. This position offers an opportunity to hone your skills in QA/testing, Web Services, Java, Quality Assurance, Selenium, SOAP UI, Python, QTP, Functional Testing, and QTP/Selenium. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on the quality of our software products.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test scripts and test cases
Identify, document, and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Work closely with the development team to enhance software functionality
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Salary

This position offers a competitive salary of $28 - $35 per hour depending on skills and experience. This is a full-time, W2-Permanent position with the possibility of contract-to-hire.

Qualifications

0-3 years of experience in software testing
Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

Skills

Experience with QA/Testing: Ensures the quality of software products
Proficiency in Web Services: Ensures seamless data exchange between systems
Knowledge of Java: Enables effective software development
Experience with Selenium: Facilitates automated testing of web applications
Knowledge of Python: Enables efficient coding and scripting
