Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join our IT Software team in New York, NY. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our company's automation testing efforts, contributing significantly to the quality and reliability of our software products.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Python, and QTP/Selenium.
• Work closely with the development team to understand product specifications and develop appropriate test strategies.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $118,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills. In addition to this competitive salary package, we also offer a variety of contract options, including Corp-Corp, W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, and 1099-Contract.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in IT Software, particularly in a QA role.
• Must have a valid work visa, be a US Citizen, or hold a Green Card.
• Proven experience in automation testing, particularly using QTP/Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Skills

• Java: Solid foundational skills in Java programming and application development.
• Python: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• QTP/Selenium: Extensive experience in automation testing using QTP/Selenium.
• Agile: Experience working in Agile development environments, with a keen understanding of Agile methodologies.
• QA: Proven abilities in quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
