Your responsibilities will include contributing to Test Automation creation, improving existing solutions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.  

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and talented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. As the QA Automation Engineer, you will be integral to our IT Software Services sector, applying your expertise in Java, Python and automation testing using QTP / Selenium. As part of a vibrant company, you will have the opportunity to work on a full-time basis under W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, or 1099-Contract terms. This role is open to US Citizens and Green Card holders.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform automation testing using tools such as QTP / Selenium.
• Work within an Agile framework to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Identify, track and report bugs and glitches in software applications.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve software design and functionality.
• Contribute to the development and execution of test plans and strategies.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in IT Software, particularly in QA Automation.
• Proven experience with Java and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with QTP / Selenium automation testing tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Skills

• Java: Proficiency in Java programming for software development and testing.
• Python: Strong skills in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
