Load My Freight LLC is hiring a dispatcher for our trucking team! Load My Freight LLC is a small, family owned and operated freight carrier and brokerage business located in Linthicum Heights, MD.  

Our dispatchers communicate with our drivers, outside freight brokers, and shipping locations to monitor and coordinate shipments, as well as negotiate pricing and book shipments for our drivers, and obtain and process all paperwork necessary for shipments and billing. 

Some key traits our dispatchers must have are: 

• Strong organizational skills to monitor all current and upcoming shipments 
• Patience with our drivers on the road and outside freight brokers 
• Attention to detail to ensure all shipping conditions and requirements are met 
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines and tasks during peak times of the day 
• Intermediate computer skills to communicate via email and process documents in a timely manner 
• Punctuality as this job requires a start time of 8am and mornings can be busy 
• Some knowledge of the trucking industry is a plus but is not a requirement for the right candidate 

The dispatch position is full-time and starts at $20 an hour, with some overtime available and a raise after your first 3 months, with other growth opportunities in the freight and logistics industry.
