Overview:
Job4Americans is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and technologies. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements, adhere to safety standards, and are cost-effective. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, products, and components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze mechanical design performance.
- Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed models and technical drawings.
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate prototypes or components as part of the product development process.
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform stress and thermal analysis to evaluate mechanical systems.
- Identify potential issues during the design process and develop practical solutions.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and ensure proper assembly and integration of mechanical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
- Experience in operating CNC machine.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Project management experience is a plus.
