Staff Accountant Job Description Sample
Staff Accountants are none other than people who prepare financial reports, financial statements, analyze data to make sure that the year’s financial compliance is right. Their tasks vary from month basis to year basis and they handle various other functions like accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax returns, general ledger entries, budgeting and bank reconciliations.
Staff accountant duties:

- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.)
