The Project Engineer will lead, manage, and be accountable for significant project scope during PRE-FEED and FEED including engineering, design, fabrication, construction, testing, installation and commissioning. Focus on the successful execution of the project with being on time, within budget and in accordance with the agreed project requirements, specifications and standards. Coordinates work with other departments (e.g. EH&S;, Production, Regulatory, Marketing) in order to coordinate all aspects for their successful execution.
Detailed Description * Capable of leading a defined scope of work or subsets of a project. * Assists in developing recommendations for more difficult and complex issues. * Works closely with other departments (e.g. EH&S;, Regulatory, Marketing) to coordinate defined aspects of the project. * Ensures supervisor is informed of progress and areas of concerns. * Assists in Operational Readiness preparation for assigned area. * Communicates EHS compliance expectations to project team. * Observes and reports on field activities and progress.
Job Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field * Typically requires 5 years working as a project/installation/facility Engineer on Offshore Assets. * Extensive experience with Primavera P3 software, P3 e/c, or Microsoft Project is required. * Experience with upstream oil and gas projects required.
