Java Developer Job Description

Java Developer Trainer

Location: Allen (can do Hybrid)
Employment Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver structured training sessions on Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Java development fundamentals.

  • Train students on industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.

  • Guide students through hands-on coding exercises, assignments, and real-world project development.

  • Explain software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control practices, and collaborative development workflows used in industry environments.

  • Provide mentorship on coding standards, debugging techniques, and performance optimization.

  • Prepare students for technical interviews, coding assessments, and real-world development scenarios.

  • Evaluate student progress through assignments, code reviews, and technical assessments.

  • Stay updated with modern Java ecosystem tools and incorporate relevant technologies into the training curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or mentoring students in software development or coding bootcamps.

  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience with Agile development practices and modern DevOps workflows.
