We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately while providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed.
• Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills:

• Proficient in coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
• Previous experience in the food industry is a plus, particularly in a barista or similar role.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
