Wire Arte Careers in San Diego, CA

Wearable art using the medium of wire I discovered this wonderful copper wire, in the Summer of 2008. Because of the clear coating the heavier gauge wire has a warm honey tone that I was so attracted to, I could not keep my hands off of it. I would spend hours and hours creating shapes with it and wrapping stones and beads with it. I was having so much fun creating I did not know what to do with all of the pieces I had. I started showing at the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia Craft Fairs in December of 2008 and continued with Farmers Markets and more Craft Fairs. Eventually I was juried into an Art Association and also decided to give Etsy a try. I started with the name "wirewrapn" but eventually changed it to Wire Arte because, I feel, it more fittingly describes my creations.
