In the early days of the settlement of our country, the name Dunham was synonymous with the word "Contractor." In 1670, Jonathan Dunham constructed the first grist mill in the new world. In 1937, Willard Dunham founded Willard Dunham Construction Company. He incorporated his name and started a company that has grown to be one of the most respected construction companies in New Jersey. A native of Woodbridge Township, Willard Dunham was a direct descendent of Jonathan Dunham, one of the early settlers of Woodbridge, New Jersey.
