Wenneman Meat Co. has been in business since 1927 processing fresh cuts of locally raised pork and beef. In 2011, Wenneman built a new 22,000 sq ft, $6 million state of the art processing facility after a devastating fire in January of 2011. Our new federally inspected facility is more efficient, with new equipment, higher sanitation standards, redundant cooling and power and more. Our homemade hams, bacon, smoked turkeys; fresh and smoked sausages, uncooked/cooked corn beef, and deli lunchmeats are made on a daily basis. We are federally inspected and also pass an annual third party inspection, which holds us to an even higher standard. We make over 10,000 lbs of bacon each week, and recently removed 20 lbs of salt from the brine, making our bacon a little bit healthier.
