About UF Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator
Opening in 1995, Sid Martin Biotech was one of the first bio-business incubators in the United States. The program fosters the growth of University of Florida-related startups by providing specialized equipment/laboratories, business mentoring and introductions to prospective investors and service providers. The 40,000 sq. ft bioscience complex is located in Alachua, Florida—about 25 minutes away from UF’s Gainesville campus. The incubator generates $100 million in regional economic impact every year.
