Dr. Michel Cohen started Tribeca Pediatrics in his personal loft in Tribeca in 1994. His low-intervention philosophy, personal approach, and high quality of care made him quite popular among local parents. Word spread, and within a few years, Dr. Cohen had expanded his practice to Brooklyn with the addition of the Boerum Hill and Williamsburg offices. This was followed by the expansion of satellite offices throughout New York City, and eventually to both Jersey City and Los Angeles. To reach a wider audience still, Dr. Cohen committed his experience and ideology to the page with his book, “The New Basics: A to Z Baby and Child Care for the Modern Parent”. Today, Dr. Michel Cohen sees patients at the flagship office on Warren Street in New York City, while consistently working with the pediatricians and administrators at all Tribeca Pediatrics locations to continually improve the lives and health of our young patients, and their parents as well.
