We are an affiliate of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), a non-profit organization founded in 1961 whose mission is to "ease the burden and find the cure" for Parkinson's Disease. Our Parkinson's Wellness Chapter is based in Cincinnati and serves residents of Ohio, Kentucky, southern and central Indiana, and the Lower Peninsula of Michigan by: - Providing information to help patients, families and caregivers make connections that promote wellness in living with "PD" - Sponsoring/supporting programs of education, support, exercise and more for the Parkinson's community - Building awareness about PD and reaching out to find and assist individuals and families affected by PD - Raising funds for local services and national research.
