The Training and Learning Collaborative (TLC) is a consulting and training division of the Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. (NILP). The Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. is the legal contracting entity for the TLC collaborative. NILP is a consumer controlled, cross disability Independent Living Center of Massachusetts. TLC is comprised of a qualified team of community-based professionals who are persons with disabilities and/or who possess more than 3 decades of training and consulting experience. TLC is geared towards educating healthcare entities in working with consumers living with a disability. The TLC trainers and consultants based at NILP have a model in place that is steeped in the values and beliefs of consumer self-directed care and is from the perspective of people who live with all types of disabilities and chronic conditions.
