We are the nonprofit Community Media Center and Public Access TV stations for Chapel Hill and Durham, NC. We provide local residents, organizations, agencies, and institutions with media-training, equipment, production space and related services on a first-come, first-served, First Amendment basis. In addition to broadcasting local content on local cable, we offer courses on media production to help you create your program for broadcast. The mission of our education center is to empower people of all ages, from all walks of life to exercise free speech, engage with their community through media, and tell the stories that matter to our students. If you are interested in creating cultural, informational, entertainment, or educational media for the community, we will not only help you learn the necessary skills, we’ll also give you the tools to do so and distribute your content on our station!
