About The Hill Center
For nearly three decades, The Hill Center has enabled students with learning differences to succeed, not just in the classroom, but throughout their lives. We serve students and teachers through pioneering Academic and Outreach Programs based on our evidence-based Hill Methodology. The Hill Center Academic Program, a K-12 school approved by NCDPI and accredited by SACS and SAIS. We are a nationally-recognized model program for students with learning differences and attention deficit disorders. With the Orton-Gillingham approach as its foundation, and precision teaching as the format for charting and graphing student progress, the Hill Methodology is a comprehensive system of individualized multisensory instruction. At The Hill Center, K-12 students receive instruction in reading, written language, math and foreign language in half-day classes with a 4:1 student/teacher ratio.
