About The Family Peace Project, Inc
The Family Peace Project, Inc. is a Christ-centered organization providing a place of refuge and resources to victims of family violence. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization funded by private donations and grants. The Family Peace Project was founded in 1996 by a group of concerned Henderson County citizens who recognized the need for assistance to domestic violence victims in our area. Currently, we provide safe housing at our service center. The Family Peace Project also has refurbished a single-family home donated by a family that experienced the tragic effects of domestic violence firsthand. It is utilized as a transitional home for women and their children making a fresh start.
