ABOUT THE DETECTION GROUP The Detection Group offers reliable, cost-effective, monitoring and alarming solutions that protect owners, managers, tenants and insurers from the costly damage that can result from water leaks in their commercial and residential properties. Detection has installed these systems in many well-known high and low rise commercial and residential properties in the U.S. The Detection Group technology started in a San Diego garage in 2006. The idea was the brainchild of our founders, who had managed a company in the remediation business. From this experience, our founders were very familiar with the expense and disruption caused by water leaks in multi-story properties, but at the time they found no solution for it. They founded a company called Dtection, Inc., which developed and marketed the Dtection wireless water leak detection system and service.
