The Chester Fund was founded by Dr. John Alston, founder of the Chester Children's Chorus @ Swarthmore College, to transform the city of Chester through Education and the Arts. Founded in 2008, The Chester Fund raises funds to support Dr. Alston's vision and to provide Arts and Literacy programs for what is now known as Chester Charter School for the Arts.
