Dr. Tal Lavian is a scientist, technologist, and educator with over 25 years of experience in computer science and network communications. As a principal scientist at Telecomm Net Consulting, he consults in the area of telecommunications and networking technologies. Dr. Lavian is also a CET Industry Fellow and lecturer at the UC Berkeley College of Engineering. He has over 80 patents issued and pending, and has co-authored over 25 scientific, peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Lavian worked for eleven years at Nortel Research Labs where he created and chaired Nortel Networks’ EDN Patent Committee.
