Tango's Haus was established in 1965 with just a wonderful little Poodle named Starlight's Golden Hay. I was a secretary/bookkeeper at that time and showed and bred Poodles as a hobby until 1981, when I and my husband, George, decided that I needed to stay home to take care of the family. I still needed to bring in a salary and so I started manufacturing "Paula's Leather Goods" and Paula's Pet Supplies along with branching out to training dogs for Schutzhund, Dual Purpose Drug Dogs and SAR dogs. I also knew a wonderful Korung judge and his beautiful wife in Germany and imported many wonderful working dogs for people in the United States and accorss the world. That is how I came to become involved in the German Biewers and instantly fell in love with the breed through a little girl that I took from a friend to rehome.
