Tacolicious takes its social responsibilities seriously. As a company whose founders have their kids in public schools, we’ve hung our hat on education and its betterment. In 2012, we started the Tacolicious School Project, which has since donated over $850,000 to neighboring public schools. We also partner with and fundraise for Parents for Public Schools, SF Ed Fund, CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture), and 10,000 Degrees.Tacolicious might have grown since its inception but we are at heart a mom-and-pop kind of shop founded by CEO Joe Hargrave, a longtime industry vet who likes to wear t-shirts to work but takes restaurants very seriously.
