The SBAGNE is to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and to enhance the lives of all affected. SBAGNE serves individuals with Spina Bifida, (prenatal through the life span) their families and caregivers in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. In alignment with the Strategic Plan the following is provided: a full time Executive Director, part time, Operations Associate; expanded educational and social events for parents of young children, tweens( ages 7-12) , teens( ages 13-16) and youth and adults( 17 +); increased fundraising capabilities with Team SBAGNE participation in the Falmouth Road Race; enhanced outreach efforts to medical offices, Spina Bifida clinics and participation in public awareness events; increased availability of financial benefits to sbaMass constituents, including a annual financial benefit;, a Conference Scholarship to support constituents in attending the annual SBA conference; hosts a New England Spina Bifida Conference and development of the Jea
