Southside Art Center, created in 1986 by co-founders Matt & Robin Rhoades, is a non-profit 501-C-3 serving adults with developmental disabilities to create a forum that applies the medium of opportunity, blending artistic expression, personal progress, and active citizenship toward individual empowerment. We have offices in Sacramento, Elk Grove, Auburn, Grass Valley and Roseville. Southside Art Center's vision is to see people with developmental disabilities as full citizens of the community who have the ability and the opportunity to contribute to society, prosper financially, and make decisions that affect their lives.
