SHIVERS GALLERY is the main representative of Carver Shivers, Portrait Artist. First and foremost, Carver is a Portrait Painter. Carver started painting at an early age, being taught by his father, Clarence Shivers; a Tuskegee Airman and renowned Artist. Carver continued to hone his skills as an artist while working as an aerospace engineer for NASA. He decided to concentrate on realistic Formal portraits, with his use of Chiaroscuro lighting being his favorite technique. Carver has always been inspired by Master Painters such as William Bouguereau, Philip A. De Laszlo, Anders Zorn, John Singer Sargent, and David Leffel.
