The Santa Clara County Cities Association (SCCCA) represents the mutual interests of the diverse fifteen cities of Santa Clara County and presents a unified voice in dealing with other agencies, organizations, and levels of government. The Cities Association was estalished in 1990 through a joint powers agreement and is funded exclusively by the fifteen cities. Each city appoints a city council member to the Board of Directors, which meets monthly. The group monitors legislative activities at the state and federal level, and works with business and industry leaders to provide a forum for addressing economic development issues. The SCCCA is a unique organization that promotes cooperation among the cities and advocates for positive action to enhance the quality of life for the people of our county.
