San Mateo County Employees Retirement Association SamCERA was founded in 1944 by the Board of Supervisors to provide retirement, disability and death benefits to employees of the County. SamCERA administers these benefits for all permanent employees of the County of San Mateo and the San Mateo Mosquito Abatement District.
