Running Mates Careers in Atlanta, GA

Running MATES is a weekly running group for children ages 5 to 12 who have difficulty with social interaction. Running MATES helps kids learn social skills and train for a 5K race. Running MATES is a program developed and managed by Flame Fitness Inc, a Georgia non-profit corporation. The mission of Running MATES is to be a positive sports team experience and provide a foundation for physical fitness for children who have difficulty with social interaction, such as children with high functioning autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Running MATES is not just a running group, it is an opportunity to open the door to social interaction with other children, increase self-esteem and succeed in a mainstream sport.
