RBT is a spinoff from the RoviSys company, which has been in business 20+ years doing process automation. RBT has been formed to focus specifically on building/facility automation and specializes in applying industrial grade control systems to facility systems (HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, security, etc). The RoviSys family of companies includes 300+ employees (90% are degreed engineers) and multiple offices in the US, Asia, and Europe. RBT is helping the building automation industry usher in the generation of open communication protocol systems, just as RoviSys did for the process control industry.
